Madison PA

We finally made it to PA...Madison KOA at 9:45 PM. Perfect timing/mileage...made it on one tank of gas. It has been a challenging day. We got a late start at 2:15, but traffic was actually pretty good except around Fredricksburg. Somewhere in West VA the engine light came on. Truck was running fine and all gauges checked out so we keep going. I guess it will be off to a Ford dealership in the morning before heading on to the Football Hall of Fame in Canton Ohio prior to our next stop in Port Clinton OH on Lake Erie. We went through West VA and Maryland very briefly, but we only got a picture of our entry into PA. Anyone familiar with Rt 37 knows there is little warning of entry, small welcome signs, and definitely no place to pull over. Thank you for all of the well wishes and prayers.

  1. Hutt, this happened to us on a steep grade in New Hampshire. But after reading the owner's manual, we found out that we had to tighten the fuel cap till it glicked, three or four times. Then when we restarted the truck, it was cleared. Hopefully your problem will be just as simple to fix! Safe travels.
